We're now looking for a Product Development & Sourcing Lead to join our team. This role is essential as we expand our product range.
The Role
We’re looking for someone to own product development end-to-end, from idea to bulk delivery. One day that might mean sourcing a new heavyweight hoodie with a 00s fit, and the next day it’s finding a supplier for custom packaging. You’ll spot product trends, build the 12-month roadmap, send smart briefs to suppliers using real-life references (and/or tech packs), negotiate, and oversee samples, production, and delivery.
You’ll work across apparel, packaging, and consumer goods - anything our community wants, you’ll figure out how to make it.
Responsibilities:
- Research trends and propose product ideas across apparel, accessories, and lifestyle categories
- Create clear, visual product roadmaps and inspiration boards for new launches
- Source suppliers and manufacturers globally
- Oversee sample development, track changes, and manage approvals
- Create tech packs when needed, but also know when to shortcut the process using references
- Negotiate MOQs, lead times, and costs with suppliers
- Manage production timelines and coordinate deliveries
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and ops to bring launches to life
- Think commercially - everything you develop should feel right for our audience and hit our margin goals
You Should Have:
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience
- Expert knowledge of fabric development, garment construction, and fit
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience in product sourcing and development, especially within fashion or lifestyle products (apparel experience strongly preferred)
You Should Be:
- Able and eager to source literally anything - from apparel and tote bags to water bottles, custom packaging, and beyond
- Skilled at visual communication and creating inspiration/reference boards
- An assertive negotiator who confidently manages suppliers worldwide
- Commercially savvy, keeping margins and budgets firmly on track
- Comfortable with ambiguity, switching gears quickly, and managing multiple product categories simultaneously
- Willing to travel occasionally to meet suppliers or factories when needed
Bonus If You:
- Have worked in a high-growth DTC brand
- Have a strong network of suppliers already
- Have experience with both premium and cost-efficient production
